While the first half of the trip was completed in September 2008, final changes to the route have been made recently, including a more direct route onto the Wirraba Ridge FT near Gospers mtn.
- This is the story of the first modern day solo crossing of the Wollemi National Park Wilderness from North to South.
- The trip will start at Baerami in the Upper Hunter (30km South West of Denman) and end at the intersection of Mt Tootie Rd & Bells Line of Road 2km South West of the apple orchids of Bilpin in the Blue Mtns.
- The trip will be attempted solo in September 2010 and is anticipated to take between 12-14 days regardless of season, weather or terrain.
- One food drop will be placed in the middle of the Park near Gospers Mtn to be accessed at the half way point.
